Located at the right bank of the river Isar slightly north to the bridge Marienklausen, this naturist spot is relatively new and has been established within the last few years. Like many other sunning and bathing spots in Munich, it is laid down with rocks and reshaped by the river flow annually. So the chances are it may look slightly different each year depending on weather conditions. It is an open space with no secluded zones so it may be quite uncomfortable for many since this area is very popular with Munich inhabitants who would be cycling and walking by on a sunny day. Apart from this, there’s a set of bio toilets seated right beside the beach under the trees and you can get freshwater any time from an open source near the Cowboy Club München. Walking distance from the Thalkirchen (Tierpark) subway station is not more than 15 minutes. There are also parking spots near the Naturbad Maria Einsiedel.
