Although this nude beach is described by several sources as being a legal nude beach, it oddly does not seem to have a distinct proper name. We have called it Nora Creina South Beach because it is on the south side of the tiny community of Nora Creina. (Other sources refer to this location as "Beachport Beach," which really isn't satisfactory because it is 20 kilometers north of the town of Beachport as the crow flies, or 30 kilometers by car.)

Whatever this case, this spacious beach with immense sand dunes is in a very remote and unpopulated part of South Australia that is about 365 kilometers south-southeast of Adelaide and 550 kilometers west of Melbourne. The nude beach is attended mainly by guests of the two small naturists resorts. Guests of Sunland Holiday Village have direct access to the nude beach by walking over the dunes, while guests of neighboring Lake Saint Clair Nature Retreat have access to the beach by passing through Sunland. Apparently there use to be signs demarcating a 500-meter-long stretch of the beach next to Sunland as being nudist, but the signs have not been maintained. Even with two naturist entities close at hand, the nude beach is often deserted or nearly so.

There are two basic ways to access the beach. You can drive to Sunland and pay a fee to park there for the day, and that is the best option for those in regular vehicles not equipped for off-roading. Or, if you are up for a drive through the sand, you can enter the beach at Nora Creina and drive south about 2.5 kilometers.
