Vera Playa is a seaside naturist complex that covers about one square kilometer. The naturist complex includes one resort hotel (Hotel Vera Playa Club, pinpointed) and one campground (Camping Almanzora, pinpointed), but most of the accommodations are private apartments (about 2,000 of them). The apartments are contained in ten subdivisions which have pools and other recreation facilities that are restricted to residents and guests of that particular subdivision. Most of these apartments are available for rent. We've pinpointed seven of these subdivisions, five of which provide online booking through the same company. The subdivisions within Vera Playa and their various facilities are restricted to registered guests, but the complex as a whole is open to the public. You can drive through it like any other neighborhood. The swimming pools in the subdivisions are nude only, but otherwise the naturist zone and the adjacent beach are clothing optional. From any of the subdivisions, it is possible to walk naked to the beach.

Restaurants, snack stands, bars, grocery shops and other shops are located in the area. While some are within the naturist zone, for the most part the commercial amenities are just outside the naturist zone and require clothing.
