Naturism is tolerated on most all of this narrow strip of land backed by a large lagoon. The exception is the area in the immediate vicinity of the pinpointed VVF vacation resort village.

This pinpointed location is the first (i.e., western) of the two naturist zones on this beach. Nudity begins shortly beyond the east end of the pinpointed parking lot. This part of the beach is often referred to as Frontignan, after the nearby town across the lagoon (etang). The nude area extends northeast toward the VVF vacation village. The area around the VVF is textile.

Continuing northeast past the VVF, nudity is again practiced in an area usually called Vic-la-Gardiole (after the nearby town across the lagoon). Nudity is possible for several kilometers to the northeast. The beach is continuous with the nude beach at Maguelone.
