Lac du Salagou is a small, artificial lake set amid rugged, arid red hills. The lake is quiet (motorized boats not allowed) and free of commercial development. Nudity seems to be tolerated just about anywhere on the lake away from textiles, but there are a few areas that are particularly frequented by nudists.

This pinpointed location is Presqu'île à Liausson, a peninsula that covers about 700 square meters. Nudity is common in the tiny coves of this peninsula.

A couple of other known gathering places for nudists are also pinpointed: one just west of this peninsula on the other side of a small bay, and an area near the abandoned village of Celles across the lake.
