NOTES  Stollenwörthweiher is not a typical freibad. It is an oblong lake, and the two "swimming pools" are protected areas of the lake surrounded by docks. Both pools are textile, and each pool is accessed from a different entrance.

The pool at the south end of the lake, at coordinates 49.4514, 8.4718 (Map It), is known simply as "Stollenwörthweiher." The street address is Rheingoldstrasse 204.

The pool along the western shore of the lake, at coordinates 49.4542, 8.4695 (Map It), is often called "Stollenwörthweiher II." The street address is Promenadenweg 4.

The FKK meadow is located between the two pools, toward the southern end of the western shore of the lake. The FKK area is accessed from the south pool (i.e., the Rheingoldstrasse entrance.) Facing the lake from the south pool, go to the left and shortly you'll reach the meadow. The FKK area has shade trees and a sandy volleyball court.

Tram (Strassenbahn) stop Stollenwörth (line 7) is directly in front of the Rheingoldstrasse entrance. This is the next-to-last stop of the tram line.

The yellow sunburst symbol generally indicates swimming establishments that have designated nude sunbathing areas. Note that there is NO NUDE SWIMMING at these locations. Most of these establishments are Freibäder (Freibad in the singular form), which are public outdoor swimming complexes that are open during warmer months. Freibäder in German-speaking Europe are often elaborate affairs with multiple pools, water slides, sunbathing lawns and other amenities, and there is typically a small entry fee. While you will have to wear something for swimming, at some Freibäder part of the lawn or another area like a rooftop terrace is designated for nude sunbathing, and these areas are usually marked with "FKK" signs. The FKK areas are typically shielded from view by hedges, fences or other barriers. (A very small number of Freibäder that do offer nude swimming are categorized with nude beach listings, indicated by red "N" paddle placemarks.)
