The narrow area at the far east end of Plage du Monaco is frequented by nudists. Although town authorities have so far refused to designate this area for nudity, the efforts of a local naturist group have insured a level of tolerance here. On the down side, many visitors headed to the textile part of the beach get there via the coastal path that runs behind the nude area, so there is not a lot of privacy from passersby.
