Kiva Retreat is a day-use hot-tub facility in Santa Cruz. Communal areas include a very large, in-ground whirlpool tub along with a smaller wooden hot tub and a cold tub. There is also a very spacious sauna housed in a yurt, which Kiva's website touts as the "world's biggest yurt sauna." In addition, there is a grassy lawn for sunbathing. Clothing is optional everywhere beyond the front entry, and most visitors go nude. Use of the communal areas is $20 per person per day. Hours are noon till 11 pm Monday through Thursday and noon till midnight Friday and Saturday. Sunday mornings are reserved for women only from 9:30 am till 1:30 pm. Thereafter, Kiva is open until 11 pm on Sunday.
