Located about 40 miles north-northeast of Seattle, The Gated Sanctuary is a small Japanese-themed wellness center that offers massage services and a collection of soaking facilities. Open five days of the week, the soaking facilities are reserved for women on Thursdays and for men on Saturdays, while the three coed days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Swimwear is always optional, both on single-gender and coed days, and most visitors opt for nudity. The clothing-optional portion of the facility is called the Hydrotherapy Circuit, and it consists of three outdoor soaking pools (hot, warm and cold) in a fenced area with lounge chairs as well as a eucalyptus steam room, a coed locker room and coed showers. Hours are 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, and an all-day pass is $35.
