Witty's Lagoon Beach is located north of the town center of Metchosin, about 23 kilometers west of Victoria. The beach is within Witty's Lagoon Regional Park, but it is accessed via a separate beach road south of the park's main entrance (but there is also a longer trail to the beach from the main entry of the park). Witty's Lagoon Beach fronts the Strait of Juan de Fuca and lies south of the mouth of the lagoon (around which the park is centered).

Although not officially allowed, nudity at the far southwest end of the beach seems to be tolerated without hassles. From the small parking lot, a long staircase descends gradually to the beach. Once on the beach, turn right and walk south about 300 meters, just beyond overhanging trees. The nude area attracts small crowds, and most everyone on the south end of the beach goes nude. Swimming is possible, but getting to water deep enough requires wading across a band of barnacle-covered rocks, so thick-soled footwear is essential for going into the water. The beach is in a beautiful setting, and the rest of the park is worth exploring.

Witty's Lagoon Beach is accessible by Victoria public transit via Bus 50, transferring to Bus 54 or 55, but the service intervals are long (several hours).
