Three Mile Beach, located on the eastern shore of Lake Okanagan, is just a few kilometers north of Penticton, which is at the southern end of the long lake. The northern part of this small sandy beach has a tradition of nude bathing and is an unexpected find in a small town. The scenery in this area is spectacular.

The beach draws small crowds on summer weekends but otherwise is lightly visited. There are no facilities or services here, and police don't bother nudists.

A recent land sale has resulted in tree and shrub removal that used to shield the beach from the road, and while the beach is more exposed and regulars worry that the nudity tradition could be threatened, so far nothing has changed.
