This is a very narrow pebble beach on Lac Léman (better known to English speakers as Lake Geneva), just east of Thonon-les-Bains, a spa resort town of the French Alps. (The border of France and Switzerland is in the middle of the lake.)

A 250-meter stretch of Plage de la Pinède is officially signed for naturist use.
