One of the best nudist beaches in Holland which stretches over at least 3 km along. Nudist recreation is permitted from km sign 10,13 to 8.80 but the beach stretches out for at least 2 more km. to the South ("de Hors") where nude recreation is allowed. The nudist beach is situated to the West of Den Hoorn, by the Hoornderslag, on the most Southern part of the island. You can enter the beach on the left side of the parking off km sign 9. On the beach and approx. 500 m to the left the first nude beach sign is placed. The nudist beach is not secured and there are no facilities like toilets or restaurants. Although it looks inviting, nudist recreation is not permitted in the dunes because they are part of a national park. The beach is a mixed audience beach with families, couples and some singles. For people who like long nude walks it is specially suited because you can walk along the shoreline for at least 4km. Behind the dunes at approximately 2km from the beach there a campsite called "Loodsman duinen". On this campsite a small part in the south-west corner is reserved for naturist campers.
