Senftenberger See is a large and popular recreation lake in the far south of Brandenburg, very close to the border with Sachsen (Saxony). Aerial photos of Senftenberger See are particularly distinctive because of the large island in the middle of the lake. This island a nature reserve that is not open to the public. The town of Senftenberg is situated on the northern side of the lake, and there are a number of camping and recreation establishments along the roughly 17 kilometers of lakeshore. There are three areas of the lake that are set aside for nude bathers.

This placemark pinpoints the FKK beach in Buchwalde, which is a village that abuts Senftenberg. When you reach the parking lot, orient yourself at the large silver water slide that is near the lakeshore. This slide is roughly the dividing point between the textile and FKK parts of the beach. Facing the lake, the FKK area is to the left (east) of the water slide. Just west of the water slide, there is a café with a deck that is built over the water.

The FKK beach at Buchwalde is well attended and easily accessible. Two other FKK areas are pinpointed on the opposite side of the lake.
