Stausee Rabenstein is a developed recreation lake with many amenities, including food concessions, a children's play area, and a water slide. There is also a camping area to the southeast of the lake. The north shore of the lake has a long beach (mostly a grassy meadow) that includes an area of sand in the textile zone. The far west end of this beach is a designated FKK zone. After passing through the entry pavilion, turn to the right as you face the lake and you'll reach the nude area after about 200 meters. Except for the lakeside FKK area, all other areas are textile. The entrance fee is a few euros per person.

Stausee Rabenstein is about 10 kilometers west-northwest of Chemnitz, which is the third largest city in Saxony.
