This jewel of a site is located 13 kilometers southeast of the center of Dresden. Wostra is a small and roughly circular lake, with a diameter of about 160 meters, that was formerly a gravel pit. It has now been transformed into a beach, with a broad crescent of sand along the north shore. This beach is reserved just for nudists. A sign at the entry pavilion announces that swimwear is prohibited. The entry fee is €3 per person. There is a food concession, and beach chairs can be rented.

From there, board bus 86 (direction: Heidenau Bahnhof) and continue until the sixth stop, which is Friebad Wostra. For the shortest possible walk that does not involve the bus, stay on Tram 2 to the end stop, Kleinzschachwitz Freystrasse, at coordinates 51.0082,13.8546 (Map It). From there is a walk of 1.3 kilometers (about 15 minutes, mostly along Wilhelm-Weitling-Strasse) to the beach.
