Naturbad Luppa is a small, developed swimming lake located just north of the village of Luppa, in a rural setting just under an hour's drive east of Leipzig, the closest major city. The lake has a circumference of about 2 kilometers, and about two-thirds of that distance is a long beach that wraps around the northern, eastern and southern shoreline. Food concessions and other amenities are clustered toward the northern end of the lake near the parking lot, where the broadest and sandiest part of the beach is located. That area is textile. About half the beach toward the southern end is designated as FKK. There is an entrance fee of about €2 per person, plus a €2 parking fee. The lake is open from early May through mid-September.
