Mondsee is the lake within a recreation park called Freizeitpark Pirkau. There are two beach areas along the lake. Along the eastern shore, there is a sandy textile beach, the most prominent feature of which is a looping red water slide that goes out into the lake. There are restrooms and a restaurant in the textile area. A less developed FKK area is situated on the south shore of the lake. Both the textile and FKK areas are very spacious, and a broad walkway around the perimeter of the lake makes it easy to get from one area to another. The entry fee is €3.50 per person. There is also a surcharge of €3 to park in the lot next to the FKK area. You can avoid this by parking in the main lot and walking.
