Neustädter See, which translates as "New Town Lake," is a recreation lake located about six kilometers north of the center of Magdeburg, a large town that is the capital city of the state of Saxony-Anhalt (in German, Sachsen-Anhalt). Neustädter See has several sandy beaches, and one of them is a designated FKK beach. The nude beach is located on the east side of the lake and on the north side of a peninsula that juts westward into the lake.

This popular nude beach has a crescent of sand that spans about 80 meters, backed by a grassy lawn. A sandy volleyball area and a small children's play area are also within the FKK zone. There are also restrooms and a food concession. The entrance fee is €3 per person.

By public transit, the nude beach is a 1.1-kilometer walk south from S-bahn station Rothensee (lines S1 and SB), which is located at coordinates 52.1861, 11.6480 (Map It). From the S-bahn station, follow the walking path along the east side of the lake. The path parallels the street Am Schöppensteg. (The lake should be to your right and the train tracks to your left.) You'll reach the FKK beach after about 15 minutes.
