Bergsee Ratscher is a reservoir located in Schleusingen. The closest major town, Suhl, lies about 18 kilometer to the north. On the eastern shore of the reservoir toward the northern end (near the dam), there is a developed recreation area that spans about 600 meters of the shoreline. About a quarter of this area is a designated FKK zone.

As you enter the area, the prominent water slide (pinpointed) in a good landmark for orienting yourself. If you are near the water slide facing the lake, the main textile sunbathing meadow will be to your left, toward the campground. The FKK area is a few dozen paces to your right, toward the dam. Although there are some hedges to the rear of the FKK area, it is fairly open to the rest of the area, and a paved walkway goes right through it.

There are snack stands in both the FKK and textile areas. Restrooms and a full restaurant are located just outside the FKK area. The entry price is €3 per person.
