Stotternheimer See is a developed recreation lake in Stotternheim, a village that is a subdivision of Erfurt (the capital city of Thüringen). A sandy textile beach spans the northwest shore of the oblong lake. This is where you'l find restrooms, a café and a children's play area. Facing the water from the sandy beach, turn right and walk along the western shoreline. As the band of sand begins to narrow, you'll come to a hedge. Beyond the hedge is a lakeshore lawn that is a designated FKK area.

The entry fee is about €3-€4 per person.
