Part of the beach at Camping Wulfener Hals extends eastward onto a hook-shaped peninsula. This peninsula is backed by a lagoon called Burger Binnensee. A small segment of the beach near the end of the peninsula is a designated FKK area.

The beach is available to the public, but day visitors must pay a fee to park at the campground. The parking lot is located at the entrance to the campground. After parking, walk straight ahead through the campground and you'll reach the shoreline after about 500 meters. Facing the sea, go to the left (east) about 400-500 meters to reach the FKK zone. En route, you'll cross a very narrow part of the peninsula, with the lagoon to your left and the open sea to your right. The FKK area begins just past the point where the peninsula begins to get wider near the mouth of the lagoon.

Wulfener Hals is located on the southern shore of Fehmarn, a large island that is connected to the mainland via a kilometer-long bridge.
