Nimburger Baggersee is a small recreation lake in the far southwest of Germany, about 20 kilometers east of France and 75 kilometers north of Switzerland. While the lake does not have a sandy beach, there are grassy lawns for sunbathing. The lawn at the south end of the lake next to the parking lot is textile. A secluded lawn on the east shore of the lake is frequented by nudists.

Nimburger Baggersee is just a 15-minute drive north from Freiburg im Breisgau, a historic town that is a tourist hub of the Black Forest (in German, Schwarzwald) region. The lake is very easy to access, being just off the autobahn and requiring just a short hike. The embankment on the east side of the lake blocks out most of the traffic noise.
