Silbersee is a small lake on the west side of the property of Camping Silbersee. (An adjacent campground called Camping Tunisee, which abuts a larger lake, is just north of Silbersee. The orange line is the border between the contiguous campgrounds.)

The lake part of Camping Silbersee is open to the public for a fee. There is a tended lawn for sunbathers across the north shore of the lake, and this lawn is divided into textile and FKK areas. The red line is drawn along the hedge that is the dividing line. The FKK area is toward the west side of the north shore, and it is almost completely surrounded by trees for privacy. There are a few places where visitors can enter the water. Visitors can park next to the FKK area and enter through the trees. An opening in the hedge provides access to the textile area, where there is a café.
