About 40 kilometers east of Stuttgart, Plüderhausen Badesee is a small recreation lake at the eastern edge of the town of Plüderhausen (close to Waldhausen, the next town going east). There is a small per-vehicle fee for parking, but otherwise there is no entrance fee. The entry to the lake is at its west end, where there is a café and a small sandy beach area that is the main gathering place for textiles. From the west end of the lake, a path goes east through a meadow across the north shore of the lake. Nude bathing is allowed, but there are no definitive boundaries of an FKK area, so the crowd tends to be a mix of clad and unclad. Nudity tends to become more common toward the east end of the north shore, a few hundred meters from the main textile area.
