Untreusee is a very popular and pretty recreation lake in Hof, which is a large town in the far northeast of Bavaria, near the Czech Republic. Most visitors flock to the north end of the lake, where there are several textile sunbathing meadows as well as a biergarten, a playground and a boat dock. Far removed from these amenities, there is a lakeshore FKK meadow toward the southern end of the western shore of the lake. This is not an officially designated FKK area, but nudity is freely tolerated. The FKK meadow is about 100 meters long and is just off the circumference path of the lake, but it is hidden from the path by a grove of trees.

If you park in the main parking lot at the north end of the lake, it will take a little over 20 minutes to walk to the FKK area. You can cut that time in half by and completely bypass the main hubbub of the lake by parking and accessing the lake near the village of Eppenreuth.
