Note: According to some comments bellow, this place is no longer nudist location. Older info (may be not valid anymore): Dettelbach Baggersee is a flooded gravel pit in the small town of Dettelbach, about 20 kilometers east of Würzburg, the closest major town. There is excavating equipment on the eastern side of the lake, while the western side is used for swimming and sunbathing. The main gathering place for textiles is at the northwest corner of the lake, near the highway (B22). Several hundred meters to the south, there is an informal FKK area toward the middle of the western shoreline.

From the pinpointed parking area, you can cross a small embankment and follow a broad path to the lakeshore. The undeveloped FKK area is a secluded meadow surrounded by dense vegetation. There are breaks in the growth through which the water can be accessed for nude swimming. This location is attended mainly by gay men.
