The public Grünau lido is beautifully situated in a green setting. After the entrance, a path to the right leads to the nudist area and the well-grassed sunbathing lawn. The nudist section is considerably smaller here than at the Müggelsee lido, but everyone can find a spot under shady trees or in the tall grass. The occasional airplanes or the tram that runs behind the outdoor pool are not a nuisance. Trash cans are provided. To buy food from the snack bar, however, you must wear swimwear, which is only available in the textile area, just like the showers. To enter the water, you descend a stone step and are immediately knee-deep in the water. The bottom is sandy and only drops steeply after a few steps. The lake itself is used by all kinds of boats and is choppy, making visibility rather low. The outdoor pool is easily accessible by public transport: Take the S-Bahn to Grünau, then continue with tram 68 to the Strandbad stop Mixed public textile/nude beach within a beautiful nature reserve. A grassy lawn and a shallow sandy waterfront invite for nude recreation. Take a 20 min walk.
