Twistesee, alternately called "Twiste-Stausee," is a reservoir in the far north of Hessen, about 40 kilometers west of Kassel. The east shore of Twistesee immediately north of route B450 is a small day-use area that draws swimmers and sunbathers. The lawn next to the parking lot is equipped with a small café and is textile. From the parking lot, follow the path northeast (to the right when facing the lake) just a few hundred meters to reach the designated FKK area. There is a parking fee.
