Hooksiel Strand is a popular sandy beach that extends eastward from the North Sea resort village of Hooksiel. The part of the beach closest to the village is north-facing, while the more distant part of the beach faces northeast. Altogether, it is over 2 kilometers long.

There are two huge parking lots that serve the beach: 1 and 2. Contrary to what might be expected, Parkingplatz 2 is closer to the village of Hooksiel than is Parkingplatz 1, and the FKK area is closer to the village than is the main textile beach. From Parkingplatz 2, cross the street and follow the broad walkway to the beach. On the beach, there is a food concession in a brick building to your right (east), and the FKK beach extends several hundred meters to your left (west). The beach is backed by a large, treeless lawn, and there are beach chairs with shades that can be rented.
