The Silberseen are part of a cluster of lakes between Dülmen and Haltern. Four of the lakes are named Silbersee plus a roman numeral, and this placemark is pinpointed at the southwest corner of Silbersee II.

Silbersee II is a popular recreation lake, and there is an artificial sandy beach that extends about 800 meters across the southern side. The beach is equipped with restrooms, snack stands and a restaurant. A small section at one extreme of the sandy beach is designated for nude bathing. Standing on the beach facing the lake, the FKK area will be to your left, next to a fence at the end of the sand. Silbersee II is one of the most popular FKK areas in the Rhine-Ruhr region.

The parking fee is €6 per vehicle. There is no entry fee other than parking.
