Längsee is a small lake in a picturesque Alpine valley. This lake, which is at most 1.25 kilometers across from one extreme to the other, is located just north of the village of Sankt Georgen am Längsee, which is part of the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan. Längsee is about 23 kilometers north of Klagenfurt, a small city near the tri-country border of Austria, Italy and Slovenia.

There is a popular recreation beach at the far southern end of Längsee. Not far away, there is a designated FKK area on the west side of the lake. The FKK area is a grassy lawn surrounded by tall trees, and there are steps into the water that provide an access for swimmers. The FKK area is fenced, with entry through a turnstile. The ticket you will need to activate the turnstile is available for purchase at the main beach, about 800 meters away.
