Kleiner Weikerlsee is a small lake located in Ebelsberg, which is the southern district of the city of Linz, a medium-sized city that is the third largest city in Austria. Kleiner Weikerlsee lies just south of the river Traun, very close to that river's confluence with the larger Danube (or Donau in German). The lake is just north of a modern, eco-friendly housing development called Solar City. To the immediate east of Kleiner Weikerlsee is a larger, undeveloped lake called Grosser Weikerlsee (Kleiner = smaller, Grosser = larger). The two lakes are often collectively referred to as Weikerlsee.

The meadow at the north end of Kleiner Weikerlsee is the only designated FKK area that is within the urban limits of Linz. (There is a large FKK area at Pleschinger See that serves the Linz area, but it is just outside the urban limits in the neighboring municipality of Steyregg.) There are restrooms, picnic tables and a food concession, and the parking lot is adjacent. There is a line of trees at the waterline, but there is access to the water for nude swimming.

Tram (Strassenbahn) stop Solar City Zentrum (line 2), at coordinates 48.2570, 14.3607 (Map It), is near the pinpointed commercial plaza of Solar City. This is the next-to-last stop of line 2. From the tram stop, go to the rear (north) part of Solar City until you see the lake. You should see a prominent wooded footbridge than spans a narrow part of the lake. Facing the lake, walk around the right (east) side to reach the FKK meadow at the north end. The total walk from the tram stop is about 1.3 kilometers.
