Fuschlsee is a beautiful lake located near the northernmost edge of the Alps, about 20 kilometers directly east of Salzburg. The oblong lake is just under 4 kilometers long and at most 800 meters wide, and it is completely encircled by mountains. There is an unofficial FKK beach on the northern shore of the lake.

This beach is a sliver of sand and pebbles that is nested into a forested part of the lakeshore where the mountains rise up abruptly from the water. At most 50 meters long, the beach is quite small, and it can get very crowded on summer days. Although the beach is not well known, it is very popular with those in the know.
