Greifensee is the name of both a large lake that is located southeast of Zürich and a town that is on the eastern side of the lake. There is a small area of the lake that is designated for FKK use. The FKK area is next to Strandbad Niederuster, which is located in the town of Uster, toward the southern end of the eastern shoreline.

Straight ahead from the main parking lot, there is a small ferry port (pinpointed), from which there is boat shuttle service to three other places on the lake (Maur, Mönchaltorf and the town of Greifensee). The main (textile) part of Strandbad Niederuster is immediately south of the ferry port. It is an enclosed space with a lakeside swimming pool, and a fee is required to enter.

The FKK area is outside the fee area. Facing the lake at the ferry port, turn to the right and follow the broad paved path that goes north. To your right, there is a large, mostly treeless meadow. To your left, there is a line of trees and other vegetation obscuring your view of the lake. The FKK area is the band of shoreline just beyond the trees, which form a privacy screen. After walking just a few minutes, cut through the trees and you're there. If you reach the point about 600 meters from the ferry port where the lakeshore trees thin out, giving you a clear view of the lake, you've gone past the FKK area.

The FKK area is a vary narrow strip of lakeshore that is mostly grassy, with patches of gravel. Swimming is allowed. A common visitor complaint is that the FKK zone disappears altogether at times when the lake level is above normal. If you park in the lot by the water treatment plant, you will be approaching from the opposite direction of the description above. Heading south along the lakeshore from the water treatment plant, you'll reach the trees that shield the FKK area after just a few hundred meters.

There are restrooms nearby in either direction from the FKK area, and there is a snack stand at the main part of Strandbad Niederuster. The snack stand is situated such that is not necessary to pay the fee to enter the enclosed area.
