The small resort village of Kalamitsi has three distinct beaches which do not seem to have separate names. The largest of the beaches faces east and is the location of a camping establishment. The main beach faces south and is backed by the hotels and other buildings of the village. The final beach is the smallest, and it is located in a small bay just east of the main beach. This hidden beach is frequented by nudists and is accessed by a 150-meter-long trail over the headland from the far east end of the main beach. The nude beach is about 125 meters long. There are some reports of textile encroachment over the past few years, but the beach seems to still be frequented mainly by nudists. The tents that line the beach give it a bit of a shanty-town effect. The tents either add character, or they are an eyesore, depending on your point of view.
