Kommos Beach, located due west of the village of Pitsidia, is a west-facing beach that is continuous with the beach of Kalamaki village. The archaeological site next to the beach divides is the approximate dividing point of the textile and nude areas of the beach. From the archaeological site all the way to the south end of the beach is textile, with a taverna located near the southern of extreme. Walk north (to the right when facing the sea) from the archaeological site and you'll soon encounter nudists. The accepted nude area extends about 500 meters, roughly delineated by the red line. If you keep going north, you'll reach the beach next to Kalamaki village, so be sure to to stray to close too the textiles there while you are naked.

This beach is alternately spelled "Komos" or "Comos," sometimes without an "s." While it is not as popular as nearby Red Beach, which is just 5 kilometers to the southwest, it nonetheless draws steady crowds of nudists and is far easier to access than Red Beach. The beach affords terrific view of the high peaks to the north, some of the more distant of which have snow until late in the year.
