Armeos Beach is a tucked away just out of sight of the village of Galissas. This small beach—just over 50 meters long—is at the end of a deep bay, surrounded by hillsides on three sides. Armeos Bay is actually a bay within a bay, situated on the south side of large Galissas Bay.

Armeos is the most established nude beach on Syros and is even publicized as such in local tourist information. The beach is well attended in July and August, when several dozen occupants can make the beach feel crowded due to its size, but other warm months may draw just a scattering of visitors. Most people go nude. The beach is visible from Aghia Pakou, the church located atop the headland, but that doesn't seem to pose a problem. Armeos has no amenities.
