Mirtiotissa Beach is the best-established nude beach in Corfu and is often cited in tourist literature as the only nude beach on the island, although there are in fact a few other beaches where nudity is customary. Mirtiotissa is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean. Unspoiled by development, this small beach draws crowds of nude users from all over Europe and some other parts of the world, too. Mirtiotissa Beach is located on the central part of Corfu's western coast, directly west of Corfu town and a few kilometers north of Pelekas. It is just north of the large, popular textile beach Glyfada, separated by a headland.

A steep unpaved road descends directly to Mirtiotissa. At the point where this road reaches sea level, there are several huge boulders that informally divide the beach into two zones. Facing the sea, textiles tend to stay to the right to the boulders, while the area to the left is mostly nudist. The nude zone is about 150 meters long and is extraordinarily popular and often crowded.

There are umbrella rentals available on the beach, and there is a food and beverage vendor. (Many visitors rave about the delicious Greek sandwiches.) There is also a full taverna at the top of the cliff. (You'll pass it en route to the beach.) The water is warm and great for swimming.
