Almyros refers to the long beach that extends several kilometers east from the beach of Acharavi. A track running parallel to the beach makes it possible to park immediately next to the beach. Drive as far as possible along the track and you'll reach the area where nudists gather at the far east end.

There are also a few small coves farther east where nudity is possible. The end of the beach is formed by a narrow channel of water (one of two outlets of Antinioti Lagoon), and there is a footbridge across it. Cross the bridge and follow the well-defined path about 350 meters and you'll reach the first cove, which is a lightly attended beach that is usually all or mostly nudist. Immediately beyond this cove, the coastline curves a bit. This curvature is the northernmost point on the island of Corfu. If you stand here and look to your right, you'll see the coastline of Albania about 11 kilometers to the east.

It is also possible to continue to another cove farther along. Stay along the path past the first cove (see the green line) and you'll go through a stretch of trees. When the land opens up again, continue about 500 meters farther, where you will see a prominent spur trail to your left that leads to the second cove. This cove may be nudist, textile, mixed or completely deserted, and it is easier to reach from nearby Agios Spiridon Beach (where there is a one-lane automobile bridge over the other outlet of Antinioti Lagoon). If you approach via Agios Spiridon Beach instead of following the outlined directions, you can actually drive all the way to either of the coves.

While Almyros is the best established nudist location on the north end of Corfu, it does not rate nearly as highly with visitors as Mirtiotissa Beach farther south on the island. (Mirtiotissa is one of the most renowned nude beaches in all of Greece.) However, Almyros may warrant a visit if you have a car since it is very easy to access with your own transportation.
