The Riviera del Conero is a very picturesque stretch of coastline located south of Ancona. It is a fairly small area (less than 10 kilometers of coast), stretching from Portonovo to Numana, where the cliffs plunge dramatically to the sea. Some of the more difficult-to-reach parts of the coast between Sirolo and Portonovo draw nude bathers, particularly the far north end of Spiaggia dei Sassi Neri and the hidden south end of Spiaggia della Vella. Between these two nude beaches, the area of Le Due Sorelle (pinpointed) is the scenic epicenter of the area. Even through Le Due Sorelle is difficult to reach (most visitors arrive by boat), it is quite popular. Therefore, nudity is not feasible in the immediate area of Le Due Sorelle.

Nudity is apparently banned in Sirolo, which has jurisdiction over Spiaggia dei Sassi Neri, so nudists here may be subject to fines. (Spiaggia della Vella is mostly within the boundaries of Ancona.) At either beach, discretion may be in order.
