Unofficial nude beach only 20 minutes drive from Hobart. Go to last day carpark (#4) east (about 500m of gravel) off the main bitumen. Walk about 1.5 km east along the beach and that is where most people start to gather. Look for the group of pine trees on the bank and once you are past them you are in the nudist area. More in the dunes than on the open beach. Lots of good areas in the dunes to be sheltered from afternoon sea breeze. This area is about three quarters along the actual beach itself. The water here is better as the waves tend to be bigger and keep the seaweed away. There are no shops or facilities anywhere close so take plenty of water with you. Textiles still tend to walk up and down quite frequently.
