Magen's Bay is a deep bay that cuts into the central part of the northern coast of St. Thomas, and Magen's Bay Beach is a long, beautiful and very popular beach at the top of the bay. This white sandy beach stretches one kilometer and frequently appears on lists of the best beaches in the world. Magen's Bay Beach is strictly textile, of course. However, on the east side of the bay, there is an isolated and much smaller beach called Little Magen's.

Bare bathing is known to regularly take place at Little Magen's, which is less than 100 meters long. Nudity seems to be unofficially tolerated, probably because Little Magen's takes a bit of effort to reach, but be advised that nude bathing is not officially allowed anywhere in the Virgin Islands and local sentiment is generally opposed to nude bathing (and even toplessness for women). It is probably best to assess the sensibilities of others who are present when you arrive before you bare all. Little Magen's typically draws a just a few nude bathers, and it is often empty.

There are vacation houses slightly uphill from the north end of Little Magen's, and the small beach is visible from at least a couple of them, but that does not seem to be a problem. In fact, a website promoting one of the houses promotes its proximity to a nude beach. Full beach amenities—including restrooms, showers, picnic tables, dressing rooms, a snack bar and a pizzeria—are available at Magen's Bay Beach. You'll have to pay a small entry fee to enter that beach en route to the nude beach.
