Port Burwell Provincial Park is a beach park on Lake Erie about 70 kilometers southeast of London. The sandy beach extends over three kilometers, but the western third of the beach lies outside the park boundary on private land and is thus not subject to park regulations. This western area is the nude beach, one of southern Ontario's best kept secrets. The owner of the private land is tolerant of nude use on two conditions: that there be no overt sexual behavior and that the beach be kept spotlessly clean.

Because the beach is backed by a thick forest, the only access to the nude beach is through the provincial park, which has a $10 per vehicle entry fee. Rangers who patrol the park beach by dune buggy turn back at the park boundary. To avoid any potential conflicts, it is best to walk a bit beyond the sign that indicates the park boundary before disrobing to create a buffer zone between the park and the nude beach. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Lot 5 to the park boundary.

Crowds are small and dispersed, so there is always ample space. Virtually everyone who comes to this area of the beach goes nude. There are restrooms, showers, camping and other amenities within the park. Be absolutely sure to pack out any garbage you generate.
