Cala Figuera is one of several small coves abutting the grounds of Cala Llevadó, a resort with campsites and apartments. Figuera is set aside for nude bathers, but all other beaches and facilities of the resort are textile. The nude beach draws both resort guests and day visitors, and most go nude.

Various sources disagree over the naming of the coves in this area. The resort calls the nude beach Cala Figuera and calls the next cove to the east Cala de Carlos. Most other sources call the nude beach Cala de Carlos and call the next cove to the east Cala Llevadó, with no mention of the name "Figeura." Whatever the case, the nude beach is hidden between the resort's main textile beach (the one we've labelled Cala Llevadó, where a long building lies just behind the beach) and much larger Playa de Llorell, a textile beach not associated with the resort. The nude beach can be accessed from either of these textile beaches.
