Playa de la Móra is located in Badalona, just north of Barcelona. The beach is situated in an industrial zone, and this unlikely location has earned it the nickname "Chernobil." Colorful concrete pyramid art installments on the beach liven up the otherwise forbidding setting. Two sets of landmarks make the nude area easy to find. The nude area is just north of the long industrial piers that extend into the sea, and the three huge chimneys of the power plant are just behind the beach. The nude beach is well attended but not as crowded as nearby Mar Bella (Barcelona's nude beach). Consider Móra as an alternative to Mar Bella if you don't want to deal with wall-to-wall summertime crowds.
