Playa de Pinedo begins at the mouth of the river Túria (just south of Valencia's port) and extends south for several kilometers. Nudity is tolerated on the southern end of the beach, near where it blends into Playa del Saler (a continuation of the same beach).

The nude area of the beach extends several hundred meters between two large parking lots: Parc Litoral Pinedo-Saler and Col-Legi. If you park at Parc Litoral Pinedo-Saler, walk south (to the right when facing the water). You will begin to encounter nudist a few hundred meters past the end of the huge parking lot. If you park at Col-Legi (next to the distinctive boat-shaped building), walk north (to the left when facing the water). You will begin to encounter nudists after just a minute or two as you are walking past an abandoned factory (watch for the tall chimney). The southern end of the nude area near the factory is the preferred gay area of the beach.

This beach is commonly known as Playa de Casa Negra after the name of a restaurant that used to abut the nude area. However, this restaurant no longer exists.
