Playa de Cerillos is the beach that extends south and west from Roquetas de Mar. Salt marshes behind the beach restrict access to the beach, and the result is a long stretch of mostly deserted beach. The nude area begins shortly beyond Roquetas de Mar's developed beach and in theory extends south and west over 10 kilometers toward Almerimar. In practice, most nudists gather within a few kilometers south/west of Roquetas de Mar, where the roads are better. Crowds here are widely dispersed. Cerrillos is an undeveloped beach with no amenities, and there is no shade at all.
