Playa de Bao (also spelled "Vao") is a popular textile beach in Vigo. Boa is just east of the bridge to Illa Toralla, a tiny island just offshore that has a high-rise hotel visible from all the beaches in the area.

At the east end of Bao (i.e., opposite the end where the bridge tto Illa Toralla is located), there is a low, minor outcropping of rocks across the beach that extends just slightly into the water. Just a bit farther east, there is a somewhat larger rocky outcropping that extends farther into the water. The part of the beach between these two rocky outcroppings is very popular with nudists. The nude beach is about 120 meters long, and it is separately named "Fontaiña" even through it is basically the far east end of Bao. The sign next to the beach, written in the Galician language, reads "Praia E Dunas Da Fontaiña."

There is an outdoor shower directly behind the nude beach, along the walkway that connects the span of adjacent beaches. Toilets, restaurants and other amenities are located nearby. This urban nude area is located about 9 kilometers southwest of the city center of Vigo, which is the largest city in Galicia.
