Playa de Castro de Baroña, also commonly called Playa de Arealonga, is a small but popular nude beach of about 350 meters in length. This picturesque and pastoral beach is a broad sandy crescent that is protected from the wind. The prominent peninsula on the north end of the beach is the Castro de Baroña, which contains the excavated remains of an ancient Celtic settlement. Arealonga is well attended, and the southern end of the beach tends to have the most nude bathers. The beach has a bit of a counterculture following.
